Clout Magazine x Rime Limited Edition T-Shirt

August 27, 2009

Premier graffiti publication, Clout Magazine, releases yet another one of their limited edition t-shirts, this time with renown MSK member, Rime. The tee features a vibrant original illustration by Rime, with a tonal Clout logo and Rime’s signature tag. Limited to only 120 pieces, the tee is now available through the Clout Magazine online store.

I know it has been a while since I have previewed a Clout design, so I apologize, but when I ran across this limited edition tee, I fell in love. The simplicity of the tee mixed with the graffiti tag by Rime makes for a shirt that is worth buying. Personally, my favorite attribute is the Clout logo hidden into the shirt.

Want a more detailed preview, then look no further. Hit the break.

“Summer of HPP” T-Shirts

July 12, 2009

Hiroshi Fujiwara previews some upcoming t-shirts from Head Porter Plus. The shirts can be seen in five different color makeups, each featuring the trademark lightning bolt logo along with the text “Summer of HPP,” on two-tone color blocks.

As I mentioned above, this is just a preview of the upcoming collection from Head Porter Plus. Though my details are limited, I do want you to know that I am looking very enthusiastically for this collection to hit, based off of this small preview. I love the t-shirts above, especially the black tees. The shirt practices simplicity and creativity. Thoughts?

Just as a side, keep in mine that when more details surface, I will be reporting on them. Stay tuned.

Lego T-Shirts

May 31, 2009

Dee & Ricky further spread their Lego styles with this unconventional t-shirt design. After working with Marc Jacobs and with Alife recently, Dee & Rickey got together with Japanese retailer Liquor, Woman & Tears, designing two t-shirt styles, the regular tie and the bow tie. For the retailer they designed two t-shirt styles, using their signature Lego look – a tie and a bow tie t-shirt. Both tees come in two colorways and are now available from LWT.

Lego T-Shirts

To me, this t-shirt design is pretty dope, even though it is super unconventional. However,  when am I ever conventional? Anyway, this shirt is a hit or miss design. In my opinion, it is quite cool, but I do not know if I would go out of my way to buy one or wear one. However, since in real life, I am a bigger fan of bow ties, I am also a fan of the bow tie more so than the tie. Are you feeling these?

Well, formulate a better opinion after you check out more photos after the jump.

Malcom Mclaren x Supreme Apparel Collection

May 20, 2009

In Supreme’s latest collaborative venture, trailblazer Malcom Mclaren takes part in a collection of apparel and footwear featuring hoodies, hats, t-shirts and footwear alongside Vans. A two part video interview also gives Mclaren’s thoughts on the whole music and art scene he was such an integral part of.

Supreme will release a small collection with Malcolm Mclaren comprised of original artwork on tees, hoodie and New Era hat. In addition, a Vans V-79 was designed for the project.

This apparel will be available in-store and online this tomorrow, Thursday, May 21st. So, stay tuned.

Malcom Mclaren x Supreme Apparel Collection

To me, having Malcolm Mclaren and Supreme tag-team an apparel collection is just bonkers. The lineup, seen after the jump, is pretty sid vicious in terms that I loved each item. From the t-shirt designs, to the hoodies, to the New Era caps, to the original artwork, I was seriously impressed. Also, can I just say that I love the snap back caps in this collection. Lately, I have been moving away from fitted hats to snap back hat, so stay tuned for more posts on snap backs.

Check out more information on Malcolm Mclaren, photos, and designs after the jump.

10.Deep x Kid Cudi

May 20, 2009

Last year, 10.Deep introduced the world to Kid Cudi through their 10.Deep Presents: A Kid Named Cudi Mixtape, produced by Plain Pat and Emile. Well, lately it looks like his flow seems to have entranced everyone from Honolulu to Manchester, scoring him famed notoriety, a label deal, and his own upcoming TV series (more details on that later). In support of Mr. Solo Dolo and his meteoric rise amidst a failing record industry, 10.Deep is re-releasing the highly requested Kid Cudi “Up There” t-shirt, a premium shirt introduced with the release of the mixtape last year. The shirt’s design is very symbolic when speaking about the self-proclaimed “Moon Man.”

10.Deep Kid Cudi “Up There” Tee

I must admit, I do love this t-shirt. The simplicity in the design, yet the symbolism behind it, makes the shirt a hit for me. The lime green “Up There” script mixed with the 10.Deep logo at the bottom mixed with the moon, stars, and black undertone makes this shirt a have to get. Though it is not the greatest t-shirt to be designed, it is pretty dope. What are your thoughts on this t-shirt?

Two New Bape T-Shirts

May 13, 2009

So, basically whatever Bape puts out, I will love, with the exception of only a few items. And so when I ran across this two new t-shirts by Bape for their Spring/Summer collection, I was very pleased. Though these t-shirts are simple in graphic and design, they are still dope. I do love the style. What do you think about them?

Bape Spring/Summer 2009 Collection

Bape has released two fun new t-shirts from their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. The signature Bape camouflage pattern only appears on the tie and the scarf, with the rest of the graphics sticking to black and white. The t-shirts are now available in Bape stores.

The Hundreds First Delivery

May 11, 2009

In a previous post, I took a look at the LA brand, The Hundreds, and their collaboration with New Era to present some pretty sick caps. Today, I am taking a closer look into their own t-shirt designs, which in my opinion, are pretty dope.

The Hundreds Summer 2009 First Delivery

One of the best known California subculture magazine and label, The Hundreds, is releasing its first Summer 2009 delivery. The new Summer T-shirts play up the label’s strengths in graphic design with tribal and cultural motifs such as the Eye of Providence, Mexican skull art, and classic American bust silhouette cut outs.

The play on cultural icons with intricate graphic details make for interesting T-shirt designs this summer. Of course, the usual humour injected The Hundreds logo and type tees are also available with the first Summer delivery.

Check out more t-shirt designs after the jump.

Clout x Cope 2

May 7, 2009

Well, I ran across this t-shirt design and just fell in love with it. The graffiti on this shirt is sick mixed with the block letter Clout logo, creating a very dope design. I love the design of shirt and would totally wear this if it were in my closet; yes, I would lay off the black t-shirt for a day, ha.

Clout x Cope 2

After recently collaborating with Todd Bratrud on a t-shirt, graffiti focused magazine Clout has now gotten together with Cope 2 on a t-shirt collaboration. The t-shirt features an image of one of Cope 2’s works and is now available limited to 72 pieces.

John Mayer x Jeff Staple

May 6, 2009

Here is a t-shirt presented by Jeff Staple and John Mayer. I genuinely enjoy the work of both artists in their respective fields. Well, since I support both for their talent, I had to post on this when I ran across this t-shirt. I must note, this shirt is simple enough to be dope to me.

John Mayer x Staple

Good friends Jeff Staple and John Mayer have gotten together for a collaboration t-shirt that will is available at the Reed Space. The two influencers collaborated on this simple t-shirt that takes inspiration from the original BAYER Aspirin logo, both Staple and Mayer are “Fontstitutes”, and have a deep appreciation for the original BAYER logo. The t-shirt comes in three different colorways including gray, white, and black.

Click below for more photos of the t-shirt and a comment by Jeff Staple about working with John and the t-shirt, which by the way, is quite comical and intriguing.
