Wale – “Ice & Rain” (Prod. by Cool & Dre)

September 5, 2009

Wale announced that after reaching 80,00 followers on Twitter, he would release a new song. Though the track will not be featured on his upcoming Attention Deficit it is a track worth listening to. Wale stated that it was not good enough to be featured on his upcoming album, which to me, says that Attention Deficit will be amazing. Link for Ice & Rain, produced by Cool & Dre, is below.

Video: Jay-Z on His Next Album

September 3, 2009

In the clip below, Jay-Z looks toward his next album, stating that it will not be a number one album, stating that he is going to make “the most experimental album” of his career to date.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Courtesy of MTV:

Blueprint 3 hasn’t even hit stores yet, and Jay-Z told us he’s already working on his next album, which will be his most eclectic piece ever.

“I’ve always said I believe in good music and bad music. … I like music. The second Blueprint, the reason it was all over the place is because I like music so much. You have tracks with Lenny Kravitz then Sean Paul. Dr. Dre. It’s all over the place because of my taste in music. I like music.”

“My next album, which I’m working on now — that’s exclusive, no one knows that — is gonna be the album that really … it’s not gonna be a #1 album. That’s where I’m at right now. I wanna make the most experimental album I ever made. But let’s not deal with that now; I want to deal with The Blueprint 3.”

Though he is just featured on the hook, Kid Cudi makes his appearance on Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 an unforgettable one. Personally, I love the vibe of this track and I think that both, Jay and Cudi, did their thing. Link below.

How many leaks was that? Ha, ridiculous. Like I said, you can listen to the album via MTV or just support it on September 11th, which I advise.
