Video: Jay-Z x Kanye West x Rihanna – “Run This Town”

August 20, 2009

After three video previews of Hov’s Run This Town, the full version has finally came through via MTV Germany. Though the video has a website embedded into the player, the music video is everything I expected and more. I love seeing Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Rihanna work together.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

This is one of music’s strongest teams to date.

Update: I installed the OS video version for a better quality.

August 19, 2009

After releasing the first video preview, and then the second video preview, I am giving you all a third preview of Jay’s Run This Town, featuring Kanye West and Rihanna. This preview is over a minute in total and leaves us wanting to hear Jay-Z’s first verse. Check it out below.

And remember, the full video is dropping tomorrow, so I will be sure to throw it up when I see it come out.

Video: Jay-Z x Kanye West x Rihanna “Run This Town” Preview Pt. 2

August 17, 2009

The other day, I unleashed a preview of Jay-Z’s latest single, Run This Town, featuring Kanye West and Rihanna. Today, I am giving you all another preview, with a behind the scenes shot of Jay-Z speaking on the video. From the looms of it, this video is going to break barriers, especially in the hip hop realm.

Oh, and by the way, DJ Ted Smooth has released a remixed version to Run This Town. The good news is that it is not a BS release, but it has merit to be a good mix.

Video: Jay-Z x Kanye West x Rihanna “Run This Town” Preview

August 14, 2009

Below, you can check out a preview to Jay-Z’s latest single, Run This Town, featuring Kanye West and Rihanna. Though the video clip below, 30 seconds in all, is just a preview, we are given quite the insight into what to expect from Hov.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Anthony Mandler, who directed the video for Jay’s first single D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune), is the man behind the camera and brings his cinematic touch to the clip. The visuals are unlike anything we’ve come to expect from Jay-Z in the past. From Roc Boys (And the Winner Is …) to I Just Wanna Luv U (Give It 2 Me), Jay has mastered being the life of the party. But Run This Town, with its action sequences and cast of extras is new territory for the MC.

Can we say Mad Max? I am quite excited for the release of this video. Good thing that this video will be unleashed this upcoming Thursday, via MTV. Also, if you still do not have the track, download it here.

Also, you can check out what Hov has to say about his upcoming album, Blueprint 3 after the break.

Run This Town Still Shots

August 8, 2009

It seems as if Jay, Kanye and Rihanna are working together to film the video for Jay’s first official single, Run This Town. From the looks of it, it seems as if this video will have just as much impact as his D.O.A. video had. Below, you can check out some still shots of the three stars working together on the set.

Still don’t have the track? Download it here.

Check out more stills of the video shoot after the break.

Jay-Z x Kanye x Rihanna – Run This Town

July 24, 2009

Well, it seems as if the rumor mill has proven itself correct about Jay-Z releasing his official Blueprint 3 single, Run This Town, featuring Kanye West and Rihanna. And the verdict? I am fully impressed. Honestly, I would not expect less from Hov, but this was over the top for me. Having Jay spit two sick verses, Rihanna on the hook and Kanye spitting one of the illest hip hop verses, has left me speechless. Don’t believe, check it out below.

And just as a side, I personally believe this is a better single than anything Jay could have done with Drake. I am quite glad that Ye and RiRi hopped on the song. Pay close attention to what Jay says in this song. After listening to this, I pose the question: How can you deny Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Rihanna being the best at what they do respectively?

Jay’s “Run This Town” Drops Friday

July 21, 2009

Not entirely sure about this, but last I knew, Drake would be the featured guest on Jay-Z’s official radio single entitled, Off That. However, it seems as if Jay will be releasing his first radio single, Run This Town, featuring Kanye West and Rihanna, this upcoming Friday. Did Drake get bumped? Or, are we going to get two new tracks from Hov? Well nonetheless, having ‘Ye and RiRi on a track with Jay will be absolute bonkers. Stay tuned.

Below, you can check out Jay-Z’s album promotional schedule, which states that the single will drop Friday. Check it out after the break.

Chris Brown – ABC

July 21, 2009

Here is a brand new joint by Chris Brown. Love him or hate him, you must admit that this guy has some serious talent, and even better vocals. Brown’s latest, ABC, produced by Dre and Vidal, is a classic sounding joint from the young superstar. Thoughts?

The Video Version of Paranoid

July 8, 2009

About a month ago, I released Kanye’s Paranoid video, featuring Rihanna, and today I have the CDQ of the video version to Paranoid. Personally, I like the video version of the song better than the album version, but both are dope to me. Check out both versions below, and you can be the judge.

Don’t Be So Paranoid

June 3, 2009

Last week, I introduced you all to Kanye West’s Paranoid video featuring Rihanna. Well, come to find out, apparently the previous video I posted wasn’t the official version, or a version at all, and Kanye was quite upset that the video leaked. So today, I wanted to release the official video to Paranoid. Though this version does not showcase Rihanna as much, it is still, in my opinion, an amazing video. And just to clarify, Rihanna does play in the entire video. Check out the official video below.
