Off the upcoming DJ Benzi x XV mixtape, Everybody’s Nobody (We Got The Remix), Mirror’s Edgefeatures some pretty prolific names, including XV, Mike Posner, Bun B and GLC. Can we say hit? I love this joint, so get it below.
The martian, Lil Wayne, adds a verse to Amerie’s latest single, Heard Em All. Personally, without Wayne, this song would not play at all. Link below for all the Wayne and/or Amerie fans.
Mario’s latest joint, Break Up, features some of the South’s biggest and newest names, Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj. Though the original track just featured Gucci Mane and Sean Garret, the new one has a guest feature by Nicki. Download it below.
Though the beat is different for the video than the previously released version, the video version is very good. Though the visuals are not what I expected to see, I am still a big fan of the song/video. You know, quite honestly, I did not even foresee a video release for this, much less this late. Nonetheless, here is Jamie Foxx’s Digital Girl video, featuring Drake, KanYe West, and The-Dream.
The other day, I unleashed a preview of Jay-Z’s latest single, Run This Town, featuring Kanye West and Rihanna. Today, I am giving you all another preview, with a behind the scenes shot of Jay-Z speaking on the video. From the looms of it, this video is going to break barriers, especially in the hip hop realm.
Oh, and by the way, DJ Ted Smooth has released a remixed version to Run This Town. The good news is that it is not a BS release, but it has merit to be a good mix.
It seems as if Trey Songz dropped I Need a Girl Remix earlier today from his blog, this time featuring Fabolous and Teyana Taylor. Go ahead and check it out below.
I was really excited to see the Ting Tings and Wale collaborate for a Skeet and Tito remix to That’s Not My Name. Personally, I enjoyed the track before it was remixed, but having DC’s own, Wale, on the track makes me even more happy. I love this remix, what do you think?
It seems as if one half of the Clipse, Malice, lends a verse for an unofficial remix of a joint off Mary Mary’s latest album, The Sound. Malice’s word play is quite exquisite on the joint, so be sure to check it out.
Mr. Never Wear the Same Thing, Wale, jumps on Chrisette Michele’s track, Fragile. In the remixed version, Wale opens up for the talented Chrisette, creating a pretty dope song. Personally, I love the vibe on the song and support both artists, so you know I encourage you to download it below.
Kanye West, T-Pain, and Lil Wayne graced Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Pt. 2, creating, in my opinion, a classic rap song. Well, it seems as if Ross and others, namely Pusha T, Birdman, Fabolous, and T-Pain, decided that it would be fitting to remix the song and throw new verses on it. Personally, I like the original better, but Fab and Pusha do come with some great verses. Check it out below.
