In the interview below, Jay-Z talks with Rhapsody about one his favorite albums of all time, Michael Jackson’s off the Wall. Hov explains that the album is one of his favorites because it transcends time and genres, allowing people of all races, cultures and ages to enjoy it. Personally, I wouldn’t have guessed it would be Off the Wall, but I will agree with Hov that it is one of the best albums ever, easily in my top ten.
Also, after the break, Jay talks with the Daily Noise about Blueprint 3, about the progression of hisBlueprintalbums, D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)and more.
And just in case you missed the news, it seems as if Jay-Z’s upcoming album, Blueprint 3, has been pushed up on its release date, from the 11th to tomorrow, the 8th. My guess it has a lot to do with the album leaking, but that has not been confirmed as of yet. Nonetheless, do not go out this Friday looking to be one of the first to buy a copy because it comes out tomorrow.
The change in release date is most likely directly related to the early leak of Jay-Z’s album which leaked in its entirety last week, a full two weeks before the album was set to grace shelves. The September 11th date was an important date to the RocNation founder, Jay-Z; the very first “Blueprint” release was released September 11th, 2001,a date shared with the September 11th attacks on the Twin Towers plagued the country.
In the clip below, Jay-Z looks toward his next album, stating that it will not be a number one album, stating that he is going to make “the most experimental album” of his career to date.
Blueprint 3 hasn’t even hit stores yet, and Jay-Z told us he’s already working on his next album, which will be his most eclectic piece ever.
“I’ve always said I believe in good music and bad music. … I like music. The second Blueprint, the reason it was all over the place is because I like music so much. You have tracks with Lenny Kravitz then Sean Paul. Dr. Dre. It’s all over the place because of my taste in music. I like music.”
“My next album, which I’m working on now — that’s exclusive, no one knows that — is gonna be the album that really … it’s not gonna be a #1 album. That’s where I’m at right now. I wanna make the most experimental album I ever made. But let’s not deal with that now; I want to deal with The Blueprint 3.”
Though he is just featured on the hook, Kid Cudi makes his appearance on Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 an unforgettable one. Personally, I love the vibe of this track and I think that both, Jay and Cudi, did their thing. Link below.

Yes, you read the title correctly. Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 is getting more and more leaked by the moment. Honestly, it does not sway my decision to go out and buy the album (and I hope it doesn’t sway yours either), but it does bring a bittersweet feeling from seeing all of the songs being leaked. I figured you’d get it one way or another, so here you go, but act fast because they will be gone sooner than later. Enjoy.

On Real Time With Bill Maher, Bill Maher interviews Jay-Z for one of the most interesting interviews I have ever listened to. Topics range all over the board, but specify on Jay-Z’s musical career, lyrics, his upcoming album, Blueprint 3, and much more.

Another Jay-Z leak? Yes, but this time it is not from his upcoming Blueprint 3 album that is set to drop on September 11th. Off Shoot 5 Ent.’s The Layout mixtape, Ghetto Techno is a must download, but I will admit that I am more than glad that it is not on BP3. Nonetheless, it is Hov, so get the link below.
