The Game x Ludacris x Scott Storch

August 13, 2009

Produced by Scott Storch, DTP’s own, Ludacris, and Black Wall Street’s own, The Game, collaborate for a new joint, entitled Pussy Monsters. Though I am not the biggest Luda fan, I do jive with The Game when he is not dissing Hov. Anyway, I encourage you to check out their new joint below.

The Game Disses Hov

July 11, 2009

I was and wasn’t expecting this diss record to drop, but regardless of my thoughts, The Game has dropped his latest diss record, I’m So Wavy, targeting Jay-Z. Seems as if when Jay said, “I ain’t talkin bout Game,” The Game took some serious offense. However, I think that The Game has been wanting to drop this for some years now, so here it is for you guys. Check it out below.

The Game – “I’m So Wavy” (Jay-Z Diss)

Quite honestly, I think that The Game has great potential to be one of rap’s biggest names, but with stunts like this, he will not reach that potential. Personally, I love The Game, but I am not a fan of taking shots at Hov, especially for silly reasons.

What happened to “Yeah, I got a lot of respect for Jay you know what I’m saying. I never take shots at legends That’s just something i don’t do” from The Documentary in 2005?

Check out some footage of The Game dissing Jay-Z during some concerts after the break.

Jay-Z Freestyles At Chicago Concert

July 9, 2009

Below you can check out a freestyle done by Jay-Z the other night at a concert in Chicago. Honestly, this freestyle is actually dope, but I will let you be the judge of that. Check it out below.

Twitter response

Catch that?

I ain’t talkin’ about gossip/ I ain’t talkin’ about Game/ I ain’t talkin’ about Jimmy/ I ain’t talkin’ about Dame.” Jim Jones and The Game seem to think that Jay-Z is starting a beef. I do not see it that way, but whatever.

Oh, and if you want to, follow along with the lyrics after the break.

A Tribute: Better On The Other Side Video

July 1, 2009

In a past post, I introduced The Game’s Better on the Other Side (A Tribute to MJ) that featured Chris Brown, Diddy, Polow Da Don, Mario Winans, Usher, and Boyz II Men and also has production by DJ Khalil, and today I am dropping the behind the scenes footage video to the track. I actually really enjoy the song and think that it is a quality tribute to the late, Michael Jackson. Check out the video below.

Got the bad news about MJ and I called Game, since I know he was a fan of MJ also. He said ”I gotta pay my respects. I’m doing a tribute song!” My first thoughts were to edit a tribute video from Taydoe TV. When he came up with this brilliant idea, it was only right to collaborate and direct a video to accompany the song. I sent one camera to the hospital, one camera to the house and one camera to the studio to ensure we cover all avenues on this day. During the editing process, the footage was so monumental in the sense that everyone was together and enjoying each other’s love for MJ. I enjoyed the process of directing this Tribute video and feel honored to be a part of history.

A Tribute: Better On The Other Side

June 26, 2009

Well, many of us around the world are still in shock/mourning over the recent passing away of Michael Jackson, so it is fitting to post this song, Better On the Other Side (A Tribute to MJ). This song features The Game, Chris Brown, Diddy, Polow Da Don, Mario Winans, Usher, and Boyz II Men and also has production by DJ Khalil. I will say, it is good to see hip hop artists paying so much homage, seeing that Michael Jackson paved the way for them. Download this joint below.

Bang Along

May 11, 2009

Okay, last I knew, The Game was going to stop putting out solo albums altogether, or in other terms, retire. However, there has been some uproar among hip hop fans after the Game released information that he was going to release another studio album, the R.E.D Album. Well, this is not off of that album, but if this song, Bang Along, is any indication as to what to expect on the album, I will be extremely pleased with the album. This song is a banger, so check it out.
