Wale Interview

July 8, 2009

Here is a short interview with Wale, done by DJ Skee. Wale stops by Kiis Fm studios to hang out with his old friend, DJ Skee, and talk about how he made it into the music indutry, his connection with Jay-Z, what DMV is and what GQ magazine said about him.

And, if you still have not listened to his music yet, download them below. Just as a side, I was listening to Wale earlier tonight was just impressed by the lyrical content that he has. Wale is easily one of the most refreshing hip hop artists that I have heard in a long while.

Back To The Feature

June 20, 2009

Ohemgee, I have been waiting all day for this mixtape to drop, and after many delays, it is finally here. Brought to you by the good folks at LRG, mixed by Nick Catchdubs, and featuring Joe Budden, Skyzoo, Talib Kweli, Joell Ortiz, Young Chris, Black Thought, Big Sean, Torae, Memphis Bleek, J. Cole, Curren$y, Jean Grae, Royce Da 5′9″, Bun B and many more, this mixtape will be worth your time to download and listen to. Though I have not finished downloading it, I am more than eager to listen to the Back To The Feature mixtape, considering the amount of impact that Wale’s last mixtape, The Mixtape About Nothing, had on me. Check it out below.
